Kev Ohm

Vocalist

Kev ohm is a Brazilian-American singer-songwriter born in Boynton Beach, Florida in 1992.

Kev ohm was singing and playing the guitar by the age of 10. At 16, he was gigging professionally at venues in his hometown of West Palm Beach. Growing up, Kev Ohm was heavily influenced by The Beatles, Jack Johnson, and more recently, Magic City Hippies, producing an uplifting acoustic pop sound with latin influences and a focus on conscious lyrics.

In 2011, kev ohm began attending Florida State University where he studied International Affairs. This departure from music as his sole focus was largely influenced by societal and parental expectations. He continued performing in Tallahassee as a solo artist and with his band Keep it Civil, supporting himself while at university by playing frat parties, sorority functions, and college bars.

After graduating in 2015, he started an internship that led to a position as an executive director with Florida's state teachers union. Negotiating contracts, advocating for workers, and living for the weekend, he was out of alignment with his purpose. In 2018, Ohm quit his job to pursue music full time.

Kev ohm has released music with his band Keep it Civil since 2013. In December 2020 Kev Ohm released his fourth single as a solo artist, Mysterious Face.
